Grayson Lake State Resort Park

Grayson Lake State Resort Park offers plenty to do, including kayaking, camping, golfing, hiking, and much more. The campground is open from mid March to mid November, and the 1,512-acre lake is available throughout the entire year. Whether you want to play at the Hidden Cove Golf Course, you prefer hiking the 3-mile trail, or renting a pontoon, this state park offers several recreational options. 

Carter Caves State Resort Park

Carter Caves State Resort Park is packed with activities for both children and adults. The park’s most popular attractions include cave tours and hiking trails. There’s also a gift shop, a gem mining area, kayaking and fishing, rock climbing, and much more. Tour the beautiful Cascade Caves, camp at the Carter Caves Campground, or stay the night in the wilderness while hiking the 4 C’s trail. You definitely won’t run out of things to do here at Carter Caves. 

Greenbo Lake State Resort Park

Greenbo Lake State Resort Park is a great location for family fun. When you stay at the lodge, you gain access to an exclusive swimming pool with a water slide, along with a children’s play area. There are paddle boats available for rental, horseback riding, fishing, and much more! Just like our other local state parks, you’ll have access to hiking trails and beautiful outdoor scenery. At Greenbo, you can rent a pontoon, bird watch, or cool at the pool off after a long game day!

Yatesville Lake State Park

Yatesville Lake State Park is a great location for fishing enthusiasts, as well as bird watchers. Observe wild turkeys, doves, cardinals, and more. You may even spot a unique vistor from time to time — the Bald Eagle! In addition to fishing and bird watching, this state park also offers a golf course, a campground, hiking trails, and several playgrounds for the kids to enjoy.
